Ever since the pandemic left stages empty, performers have been waiting patiently for the return of the event industry. Now it’s their time to shine, because New York is back.
 

The Delegation of Flanders to the USA proudly supported a team of
New York-based performers - among which a Flemish actor - into making that happen again.
During this secret project, 3 cyclists took on the concrete jungle of Manhattan in a cycling race.
On Friday, August 20, 2021, they ended up in a flashmob on and around the red stairs in Times Square. 🏁

Just like fries and beers, cycling or ‘de koers’ is undeniably part of the Flanders’ DNA.
Although New York doesn’t have a Koppenberg or Kapelmuur, the Delegation of Flanders is delighted to have been part this project that brings a piece of the Flemish culture to the states. #cyclingiscominghome
